And be your own Boss

How do I become a driving instructor?

However, if you are prepared to put the time and work in, and with the right trainer, you will pass and starting your new career, as an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)

There are 3 parts to qualifying, and each part has its own exam that you will need to pass within 3 attempts for each, you don’t need to rush things, you will have 2 years to complete all 3 of these from when you pass your first exam, the theory test.

Most trainees take anywhere from 6-12 months to complete all 3, but the good thing is that you can still do this whilst having an existing job.
