Applying For Your Driving License
Before you can drive legally in the UK you will need to obtain a PROVISIONAL DRIVING LICENSE. You can apply for this license by filling out the D1 Application form which is available from your Post Office or you can apply online. Along with the application you will need to send, 2 passport sized photos and relevant proof of your identity. The form will then need to be sent to the DVLA along with the current provisional driving license fee of £45. It will usually take around 2 -4 weeks for you license to be processed and returned to you in the post.
