This is the first part of the overall driving theory test. The theory test multiple choice questions was introduced to give drivers a better overall understanding about driving, rules of the road and driver responsibilities.
This test has 45 main questions and 5 case study questions, 50 in total. Questions cover a range of essential driving related topics and you’ll have 57 minutes to complete this section. To pass, candidates need to answer at least 43 out of 50 correctly.
Once you’ve completed this part you will start the hazard perception test soon afterwards.
